Approved Contractors
Contractors must be certified and approved to carry out the following types of work on Powerco’s electricity network.
- Subdivisions: Design and installing power for new subdivisions
- Large commercial and industrial properties: Power supply for new or upgraded buildings and developments
- Residential and commercial connections/disconnections: Connecting or disconnecting houses, farms or commercial properties to the Powerco network.
- Streetlights: Connecting new streetlights or altering streetlights
