Cyclone Gabrielle - Sunday update
As at 12pm Sunday, there are 1,233 customers without power across Powerco’s network – down from 1,710 at 12pm Saturday afternoon.
(Please note: this is a total of all current outages and includes new outages that are not related to Cyclone Gabrielle restoration.)
A regional breakdown of those outage numbers is as follows:
- Coromandel – 586 customers
- South Waikato – 91 customers
- Bay of Plenty – 64 customers
- Taranaki – 344 customers
- Whanganui – 37 customers
- ManawatÅ« – 40 customers
- Wairarapa – 71 customers
Crews are continuing to work over the weekend across the network to restore customers wherever possible – we know the ongoing outages are difficult, please continue to be patient.
