Warmer kiwi homes fund

The Warmer Kiwi Homes programme helps eligible homeowners insulate their homes and install efficient heaters to reduce power bills and improve comfort.

Grants cover up to 90% of the cost for ceiling and underfloor insulation and up to 80% for an approved heater, such as a heat pump. 

To qualify, the home must be built before 2008, and the owner must meet specific income or cardholder criteria. More than 150,000 homes have already benefitted.
