Powerco CEO to lead Transpower
Powerco Chair John Loughlin acknowledged today the resignation of Chief Executive James Kilty, who is taking up the role of Chief Executive at Transpower.
“We have accepted James’ resignation and will shortly commence a recruitment process for his successor,” John Loughlin says.
“James has led the business well for the past three years and contributed strongly to the broader EDB (electricity distribution business) and energy industry, advancing the decarbonisation pathway for New Zealand. We thank him for his contribution and wish him well in his new role at Transpower.”
The Powerco Board will take some time to consider its approach, before commencing recruitment of a new Chief Executive.
