Community Support
Powerco in the community
We are proud to support the communities we operate in, and recognise the importance of supporting events and organisations on a local level as well as regionally and nationally.
We are not actively seeking new sponsorship or community partnership opportunities at this time.
However, if you believe you have a truly extraordinary opportunity for us, please register your interest at sponsorship@powerco.co.nz. Proposals will be reviewed, and a representative from Powerco will be in contact within 4 weeks to advise if your request is to be progressed further.
Powerco receives a significant number of requests to support many worthy causes across our network. While we would love to support all, this is simply not feasible.

Powerco Lights Up The Night -
|
Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery |
We are the naming-rights sponsor of the TSB Festival of Lights New Year's Eve event - Powerco Lights Up The Night. We couldn't think of a better way to show support for the Taranaki region and visitors to the festival, than funding this popular annual event. | We actively support Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery as the naming-rights sponsor of the Powerco Education Centre. We value the importance of protecting our endangered wildlife and providing a safe haven during recovery. Through our partnership, we're helping our most vulnerable native animals get back on their feet. |

Replant for tomorrow |
EnergyMate |
We've teamed up with Wild for Taranaki and Asplundh to deliver Replant for Tomorrow.
This initiative is a promise to plant a tree for every tree removed from our Taranaki network this year.

We’ve teamed up with the Electricity Retailers Association of New Zealand to deliver EnergyMate to Hawera. This free in-home service, provided by the Hawera Budget Advisory Service, aims to help families manage their energy needs and help keep their homes warm. |
