This work will require a series of power outages so that the work can be done safely.
Your retailer (the company you pay your power to) should send you notifications of each outage that you will be affected by, or you may receive a hand-delivered notification.
We will be making every effort to ensure the project proceeds as scheduled; however all work is weather-dependent so our outage dates and times may be subject to change. We will post any updates (such as cancellations) on this page as information comes to hand.

There are a series of outages scheduled in mid-April - early May to replace poles, crossarms and hardware. Due to the nature of HV work, outages may affect customers across a number of streets.
Your retailer (the company you pay your power to) should send you notifications of each outage that you will be affected by, and you can check which outages will affect your property at www.powerco.co.nz/planned-power-outages
This work will follow the completion of the first round out of outages.
Each outage is more localised (i.e. will affect a smaller number of properties each) and you may receive notification of the outage by a hand-delivered notification in your letterbox instead of a notification from your retailer.
As the outages are scheduled and approved, you will be able to view them at www.powerco.co.nz/planned-power-outages. Please note however that outages are occasionally subject to change and there is a small chance they could be cancelled or moved to an alternate date.
