Building Near Overhead Lines
A set of regulations governs safe practises when building takes place near overhead electricity lines.
These were upgraded in 2001 to strengthen minimum safe electrical distance requirements. They were set to protect persons, property, vehicles and mobile plant from harm or damage from electrical hazards.
