Andrew McLeod joined Powerco in 2009 as the General Manager of Powerco's Gas Business, and manages Powerco's gas team based in Lower Hutt, Wellington.

Mr McLeod is a mechanical engineer with 15 years experience in the heavy engineering, water and gas utility sectors. His experience spans engineering strategy, project delivery and operating environments.

Prior to taking up the role of General Manager (Gas), Mr McLeod had worked as part of Vector's Gas Management Team in the role of Asset Strategy Manager, and had held Senior Engineering Management roles in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Mr McLeod is a Chartered member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (UK) He holds professional qualifications in the areas of Engineering and Applied Finance.
