Two Powerco entries have been named as finalists in the 2015 Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards.
Jemma Stevenson is a finalist in the Young Energy Executive of the Year category. Her entry profiled the Powerco legal team’s development of a cloud-based contract management system and Jemma’s own expanding role within the strategic leadership of Powerco’s business.
The second success is in the Environmental Initiative of the Year section where Powerco’s Gas environmental programme is one of three finalists. Powerco’s Gas Network is unique among its peers in this country in gaining certification through membership of the independent Enviro-Mark programme. To date, Powerco has worked towards and achieved the Gold standard.
The sixth annual Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards will be presented at a gala dinner in Auckland on August 12.
