Fieldays Survey Winners
 27 June 2007
During the National Fieldays at Mystery Creek in June 2007, Powerco undertook a survey asking people how interruptions to electricity supply affected their homes and businesses. The survey results are currently being processed and will be used to help our business better understand the cost of non-supply to a wide range of consumers, particularly rural businesses including dairy, sheep and beef farmers as well as horticultural operations.
Around 1000 surveys were completed with people quantifying the impacts power-cuts have on their businesses and advising whether they would be prepared to pay a higher line charge for a more secure electricity supply.
Powerco also had two chainsaws to give away to people who took the time to fill out our survey. The winners were Heather Holland of Putaruru and Bill Davidson of Palmerston North.
Powerco wishes to thank all those who took the time to fill out the survey. We hope to see you again at next year’s Fieldays at Mystery Creek.
