Putaruru

Project Putaruru is managed by PTS’ sister company Independent Transmission Services (ITS) and involves a proposed switching station and 110kV transmission line to reinforce the electricity supply to Putaruru, Tirau and Arapuni, and to relieve overloading at Hinuera.

In addition the project will:

• Improve the reliability of the electrical supply to existing customers in the area.
• Future proof the electrical network in the area.
• Promote growth & development of the local economy

The project is still in its early stages and discussions are currently taking place with stakeholders and affected parties.
