What it is?

A modular system with a generator, energy storage and innovative energy management system combined with renewable supplies from PV solar panels, micro hydro and, potentially, wind turbines.

What it does

BASEPOWER provides a continuous and reliable supply of electricity, like or better than grid supply.

• High power quality is achieved by on site power generation and premium components, untouched by potential network faults. 
• Removal of long overhead lines reduces the risk of outages and power fluctuations. 
• Provides multiple power sources for more resilience.

Functionally, BASEPOWER manages your renewable energy, battery storage and generator for a reliable, continuous and pretty much hands-free electricity supply.  The system prioritises using renewable energy first.  Where there is more renewable energy being generated than used, the batteries are charged.  When your demand exceeds renewable energy generated, stored energy is drawn from the batteries.  If your demand rises further (or batteries levels drop to a pre-set level), the generator starts providing electricity to meet your needs and charge the batteries. 

BASEPOWER manages behind the scenes the technical complexities for you; from converting DC generated energy to AC for your premise, to managing power factor issues arising from older equipment or ensuring generator runtimes are optimised for good battery life and engine management.
